I am naught but a stone. A pebble really. Too small to be noticed, too big to be played with. I watch all the big rocks, they are boats and homes and spaceships. And the little ones are berries and soup bits and weapons. But I’m not.
What am I?
I want to be noticed. I want to be found. To be imagined with and created.
I want to live.
They almost found me yesterday. Almost took me to play. But they reached out and took another. They missed me.
I had a chance.
Yeah, I almost got to live.
